Today, after a lot of pre-works and efforts, I finally made Catherine agreed to take on a challege with me on drawing a cartoon character showing on TV.
Jacky VS.Catherine, and Jacky first.
To make sure the drawing would go well, I frozed the video on TV, which made Catherine reluctantly to go on, however we did start the challenge.
When the drawing was ongoing, Lucy came over, and happened Catherine muttered she wannt to watching TV while I’m doing the drawing. The sound was soft and low.
Then story began:
Lucy: Watch your TV, why not?
Catherine: Daddy is drawing, he frozed the the TV video to draw the character. Started to cry…
Lucy: Watch your TV.
Jacky: …… Stinging to Lucy.
Lucy turned around, and went away.
Catherine followed with her steps, crying louder and louder with words “I want to watch TV”.
…(Here saved 2 thousands of words)
About 20 minutes later, after the lunch was ready, the crying faded out, eventually.
So, yes, this is a story about family education of raising a child and teaching a child.
And, yes, I’m always playing the bad guy while Lucy playing good.
Simply put, yes, it reminds me a saying in China, 不怕神一样的对手,就是猪一样的队友, which in English, not presicely but almost, would be “A warlord-like foe is not my worry, a pig-like partner is”.
